|Recommended: YesBEST staff ever — We've been living in Berkeley for a year and have leased with a few companies but have never met anyone so kind, enthusiastic, and attentive like Sarah and Nicole from the Bachenheimer leasing office. They've been so helpful throughout the leasing and move-in process, no matter it is answering phone calls, responding to emails, or helping us to solve problems that are normally unmanageable. We really recommend leasing with Bachenheimer and it's truly been our most pleasant experience here at Berkeley or anywhere in the U.S. Thank you Sarah and Nicole for everything, and we look forward to fully moving into our new Bachenheimer home

|Recommended: YesBachenheimer Apartments Rating — Living here has been great I love that the staff is always available to help and I feel very safe living here. From my personal research, it seems like negative reviews of this apartment complex are from before the new management came in. One complaint I do have is the noise from the street and from the construction. The walls and windows are not very soundproof- especially the windows it seems like most of the noise comes through there. When first applying to move here, I was not told of the ongoing construction and was only told by a friend who had already signed a lease here. I know that noise can be a huge deterrent for signing a lease but it would have been nice for the management to be more transparent about that. Overall, I would recommend this apartment complex to other people. There is a mailroom, maintenance on-site, laundry on every floor, and many standard things that I appreciate having in the first apartment I've ever lived in on my own.

|Recommended: YesHidden gem of an apartment in Berkeley — I only have praises to sing about my lovely apartment and the staff that work at Bachenheimer. The property and maintenance staff go above and beyond my expectations by responding to any questions or requests I have on a moment's notice. The sound and heat insulation are great. Although there is construction nearby, I hardly notice it at all when my windows are closed. I've received numerous compliments on the appearance of my apartment and love the unique windows. I'm very happy to call this place my home.
